Sterling’s ConsultALawyer program is designed to assist those who genuinely cannot afford the cost of legal services.

According the Supreme Court Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS), you may qualify for free legal assistance if any of the following apply (Maaaring ituring na maralita sa ilalim ng ULAS kung ang kalagayan ay tumutugma sa alinman sa mga sumusunod):

  • You have no money or property sufficient and available for food, shelter, and basic necessities for yourself and your family. (Walang sapat na pera o ari-arian na pantustos sa pagkain, tirahan, at mga pangunahing pangangailangan para sa sarili at pamilya) 
  • Your family’s gross monthly income is not more than double the monthly minimum wage in the place where you reside. (Ang kabuuang buwanang kita ng pamilya ay hindi hihigit sa doble ng buwanang minimum wage sa lugar kung saan ka nakatira)
  • You do not own real property with a fair market value as stated in the current tax declaration of more than PHP 300,000.00 (Walang pagmamay-aring bahay, lupa o real property na may fair market value na higit sa PHP 300,000.00, base sa kasalukuyan nitong tax declaration).
  • You have no sufficient means to afford the adequate legal aid services you are seeking.  This includes OFWs. (Walang sapat na kakayahan para makapagbayad ng kinakailangan na serbisyong legal. Kasama dito ang mga OFWs).
